Sad day today, Our daughters family dog had to be put down..... She was a cute little dog full of farts and vinegar ( In a good way ) She was always looking to find a little trouble, they were over this morning and the two dogs there dog Lexie, and our dog Miley found some bait Danny had put away in a tub for lobster fishing...little monkeys they stunk ........ Then when I went to put her leash on her she rubbed her face and head over my pants so then they stunk, ....... she will be missed , My heart is breaking for them , they had a tough decision to make today and we know it was the right one but it doesn't make the pain any easier........ She was hit in the drive way of there home by my son in law, He is not doing so good dealing with the fact they had to put her down from her injury's ...She had a terrible habit of running towards him when he drove up the drive way . Today she slid while running and went under the truck, Things happen so fast, and with out answers hopefully someday we will understand why!

Please forgive me for being such a stacker! I can't say I've been so busy to blog that would be a LIE! I just lost interest for a while and now I feel like getting off the pot and getting back at my blog and cards. I do have a few pictures on my camera of cards I did make over the past few months, I'm hoping to get them uploaded so very soon I have close to 600 pictures ..... I think I'll be at it for a while.

I'm going to do my Daughters Wedding invitations, I have started them and will post a sample of it as soon as she gives the ok....it's a surprise for now...he he .

Well time to catch up on some blogs , I will be back tomorrow sometime I have to go to the city to pick up some things for hubby and stop by the scrap-booking store for me...

So sorry I haven't been posting much lately! I have recently just rejoined stampin up, I have been busy getting thing ready for a show I had Sunday past, It went GREAT! we had fun and made 2 lovely projects I will upload them very soon. Besides being busy will stampin up, our new puppy (Miley) keeps me on my toes especially when our grandchildren come to visit, she loves to nibble on there ears and bite at there toes, Our 4 th granddaughter Skylar is going on three and is very petite the puppy chases her and bits at her little legs while she is running ... ..so of course she tells poppy, and poppy puts Miley, in time out... she gets a big kick out of it that the dogs has to go in time out ...well enough talking for now, take care everyone and I will be back real soon with some projects and cards.

I have finally gotten my cards uploaded I think that is harder for me then making the cards, The first card is my favorite , I love doing these images in softer colors, My favorite colors are FALL colors . I haven't been posting lately, Tomorrow is the first day of the season so I have been busy helping hubby get things ready. Guess what we did early this morning? We went to pick out our new German Shepard pup! She is soooooo sweet, It was so hard trying to pick from 5 , I wanted them all..... I will post some pictures of her when we bring her home in less then 2 weeks time, Her name is Miley! we thought since her mothers name is Hannah , Miley seem to fit her.

Seems like forever since I last posted, I though I would never get all my stuff over in my new scrap room, The more I carried over the more I found . Last night I finally sat down to work on my Grandchildren s Easter cards, I did them in 4 different colors with my favorite coloring technique Primacolor coloring pencils Then I went looking for my Easter sayings...I could n't find the one I needed to go a crossed the bottom of the card I believe I loaned it out a while back I have that sometimers disease, sometimes I remember, and some times I DON'T Oh well it will show up someday. It's been a long few days, We had another snow/rain storm last night and today school was canceled again , the children went off on March 13-23 for March break, 24th school cancel due to storm, March 27th in service no school and then again today, how are they ever going to get caught up on there lessons.......

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to make any cards these past few days, I have been in the process of changing my scrap booking room Thank God Ive finally removed everything from the old room into the new one, I'm as to how much stuff I have and were I had it all stored, Some of it is still in it's package, I really need to start writing down what I actually have that way instead of going out to purchase it again I will look to see if I already have it , We had to go get 2 new cabinets so far and I told my husband today I think I need anyone one
He just laughed and asked ..... when was I going to move in the opened part of the basement cause that room was looking kind of crowded already I'll soon be organized and then back at my cards, until tomorrow for now everyone..Happy Scrapping

How is everyone tonight, We had a very lovely day here today the wind is still a bit cool thought to really enjoy being outside for very long. I was a busy today,I finished 1 card and have another almost completed, Did laundry, cleaned the basement, besides doing all the everyday stuff, Now I'm .

It is still snowing here and school was canceled again, When I was little we would have to walk through a foot of snow just to get to the bus stop, How things have changed. The side road that I live on has the school bus go down it to pick up the children, It is a mile long The family that lived out at the end had to walk it when we were in school, by the time they got to the bus stop they would be soaked and half frozen. The poor children today have it sooooooooo rough Well it's time to say for now , Have a great day/night

Well what a difference a few days make, We are getting hit with a snow storm The weather man is forecasting 10-15 cm of snow we got that all ready and it's still coming down. Looking on the brighter side it is suppose to be warm and sunny for the rest of the week .

I finally uploaded my picture of my camera to my computer today, The first card is my daughters birthday card, it's a really simple card to make I enjoy how quickly this style comes together. The second card is one I made with my new magnolia stamp, I colored both the image and the flowers with my primacolor colored pencils and glittered them up...I love glitter! it seems to add the final little touches to some projects, Have to say for now, take care everyone and happy scrapping...

How is everyone tonight/day ? We had a nice family day today, Danielle, Danny and I went over to Tatamagouche for a drive, ever since Danielle watch the show the week the women left she wanted to go there , So first thing this morning we grabbed our stuff and away we went, not with out my trusty camera of course. I hardly ever go without taking my camera, I'm so glad I did, besides seeing 5 deer and lots of other birds I just happened to look up and there it was a OWL sitting in a hardwood tree watching another bird around it, I haltered STOP THE CAR ! Danny near took a heart attack I scared him that bad, he couldn't figured out what I was going on about. BACK UP BACK UP! I'm laughing now cause it was funny at the time, anyways here is the pictures I took of this beautiful bird. Take care and happy scrapping...............

I hope you all had a Happy St Patrick's Day, Danielle and I went to the city to get our hair done, Danielle got some Carmel highlights and I got mine cut, oh doesn't it feel some good to get your hair done! I could fall asleep esp when I get a scalp massage...... I go to a place called Twisted Scissors in Dartmouth, They are 2 sisters that are trying to make a go in there new shop, so if your in the neighbor hood stop by they are a awesome pair...

Now down to business, remember yesterday I said I received my Magnolia stamps well I finished a card...It's not my favorite, I didn't care for the blue paper I used so I decided to outline with my black liner well it came in a blaaaaaa so I continue in the same pattern, now I wish I had of taken it off and added something else instead. I used my prismacolor colored pencils to color her, paper is from Michael's .

What a gorgeous past few days we've had, Spring is in the air and I am sooooo ready! We had enough of the freezing rain that is worse then S--- won't say it, I don't want to hoax myself. I received my magnolia stamps today along with a set of precious moment stamps they are so sweet, I will post some images very soon. This morning our granddaughter wanted to have a tea party so I took a picture of the table they set up with the tea set on it. I had to get these from the USA they had none here in Canada, We looked and looked for months.

Well I did manage to make a few cards, I really enjoyed making these they came together very quickly the one is a side ways card:

It's been a very sad 2 days, A helicopter crashed of the coast of Newfoundland carrying 18 people, So far they recovered 1 survivor and 1 body, At 5 pm this evening they announced they were on a recovery mission. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, and friends of those who are left behind .

We had snow here again today, Yesterday Danny, worked so hard cleaning up the ice in the drive way then we woke up to SNOW! It was pretty I must say , but it's time for Spring to come .

So how did everyone spend there week-end ? Beside getting caught up on laundry, and hanging them outside to dry yesterday I just did nothing. Our oldest granddaughter spent Friday night and all day Saturday with us, Her and Danielle were doing plays, singing, and flips a crossed the basement floor, of course we had to stay and watch there performances, I got them on video, they warned me not to post it on line or they would be MAD! So I promised I wouldn't.

I did manage to download the picture I took of Danny's Birthday card, I love making new cards. I order my first shipment of Magnolia stamps last week, I can't wait for them to arrive. I also won a set of Precious Moment stamps that I bid on , they will be arriving in 10-14 days . Time to go for now , Take care and Happy Scrapping

Well what a start to my week, I lost all of my stuff on my computer on Monday, A virus took over and before I knew it I was restoring my windows to factory default. I was so upset at the time, I lost so many thing that I had saved. So for the past 2 days I have been searching the web looking for my favorite sites that I lost, I didn't have them saved to my blog. ......WELL I can say most of them are there now, I still have a few more to find. How is your weekend so far? Today was a beautiful day, the sun was out and the temp was only -1 Yippee!!!! getting warmer. After the terrible day on Thursday with the snow/freezing rain I had a chance to make a few projects, The first one is a cover journal, The second is a sweet little 3x3 box, I'm going to make a few more of these and decorate them for a wedding favorite. The last one is a LOVE! word album, I really enjoy doing these albums they are really easy to do and they come together rather quickly, I'm going to offer a class on this project the first of next month, Well time to run for now , take care and see ya soon

It's snowing again today, Oh how I wish spring was here, I usually don't complain about the winter....... this year has been bad, we have been getting freezing rain after every storm, Our drive way has 2-3 inches of ice still in from the last storm. Guess I have no other alternative then to stay inside and play with my cuttle bug! lol.... I will be back later, take care and stay safe, those of you that has to travel out on the highways...

Little Purse Project!

Isn't this just the cutest little purse ? I was planning on making them up to use as a little storage for 3x3 note cards, Instead I decided to make it into a little gift card. As soon as I get my scanner up and running I'm going to post the template to this little purse a long with the 3x3 envelope template along with others ..ESP the file folder one since I have gotten so many reply's for it, Please bare with me as all of this is still new to me and I'm still learning as I go. Hiding inside away from the cold, it's freezing outside! We have had some pretty rotten weather lately, it always ends up in freezing rain...YUCKY!!!!!! our drive way is nothing but ( Thats right) ICE! Hi Everyone!
This is a card I made for Dear Hubby for Valentines! The envelope is all deck out as well, This is a card I seen made by Michael Strong and I really liked how it looked so I decided to give it a shot. I changed it up a bit to make it my own design, It took a bit longer then a normal card would to make but in the end I think he will like it, What do you think? let me know!

Wow! I'm really pleased on how this turned out, I thought it was going to be much harder then I thought! I guess the old saying is true, you can do anything once you put your mind to it. Once I find my actual measurements I will be glad to share it with anyone whom may want to give this a try them self .

Girlie Girl book Album

One of my most favorite tools in scrap booking is the Cuttlebug! and all of the embossing folders .....Love them all, this is a card I made some time ago and forgot to post it, The stamp is one I used from Stampin up, it can be used for many other occasions. Have a Scrap Happy DAY!

Hi Everyone! I hope those who are getting the cold weather are staying WARM! It's been so cold lately, Tonight they are calling for a snowstorm then 2-3 hours of freezing rain, then changing over to rain in the morning with plus 8 temps...Oh boy know wonder everyone is getting the colds! I purchase some new stamps and I wanted to share them with you, they are from Inkadinkado....I really like there designs of stamp sets they have lots to choose from. Wow! it is cold, How cold you ask ! It's minus 22 right now and with the wind factor added in it's minus 35 brrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cold out there.... Well I hope you had a chance to figure out what new dies your buying, I think I'll buy them all, not right now of course, over the next 6 months or so I should have most of them that I must have, and those that I need. I 'm working on some new projects and will post them within the next few days hopefully . Well I have to run for now take care everyone and have a great day/night

Hi Everyone!
I guess I have been missing in action lately, I can't seem to get myself going these past few days, I can't blame it on the weather, it's been rather mild these past few days, Oh well I need to pull my socks up and get going. I have cards to finish, gifts to wrap, baking to get finished, some more cleaning to do, and get my decorations up, I can hardly believe Christmas is only 22 days away, I need to get my motor running and get myself in gear...lol. I promise to have some pics up in the new few days, I also will be posting some pictures of my Ribbons that I sell, maybe you'll see some you need, I have some great prices so you'll have to check back to see all the wonderful colors.....I need to run for now, take care, and have a great day!

Well that was what you call a long week-end, I went away early Friday morning and was expecting to be home late Sunday night, NOT! We were all stormed stayed until Monday morning and I didn't get home until late Monday night. I'm finally caught up in my sleep and my housework ( dirty word) housework lol... I'm going to get some new items up and posted within the next couple of days, Oh yes before I forget, I purchased the Tinker bell and Friends, and the world of cars, yesterday at Michael s.....What sales they have on until 10pm Friday night, So run out and get them while the prices are at $ 39.95!!!!! super savings. Monday's project!

Wow ! I finally got some pictures uploaded to my computer, It's something I don't do often enough I have a 2 MB scan card so I tend to take a lot of pictures then when it's time to put them on the computer it takes forever to upload them all, Now that I have a blog I need to upload more often. this week project is a bit different from cards etc, I wanted the children to learn different techniques so I went with a paint project! let me know what you think.

Jorja's Birthday!

Yesterday was Jorja's Birthday she turned 2, Like all little ones, I think it's not really a birthday until they get to see the CAKE! Well we know she loves icing...She would of ate it all if her mom hadn't taken it away, she did how ever share a bit with her Nanny..lol. We have no more children or grandchildren s birthdays for the rest of the year, Summer's birthday is the next one to celebrate in Feb. I will post some pictures of my cards etc that I am making for Christmas as soon as I can, have a great day talk to you soon.

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween, this is a picture of Danielle she loved wearing that black lipstick.... It was a great evening for the children, the weather cooperated very nicely along with the Friday night traffic, that was my biggest concern foe everyone. Well today the children made a Halloween can , They all looked wonderful, everyone had a different idea on how they wanted to decorate and what colors they wanted to add. I can truly say I didn't realize how many colors look so really good with each other, Our next class won't be until November 10th. We are going to make a journal, then were are on to the Christmas things..woo hoo can hardly wait.

Wow! What a great party we had, Everyone that came dressed up. We played games, danced to Halloween music, ate , and ate some more. The children all had fun, Danielle is already planning on what she wants to do next year.

The Halloween Class was a big hit! all the girls had so much fun, Next week I will post some pictures of the project they will be making.
